Cardiovascular disease is a major health challenge in the world. Investigatory works are directed to predict gene regulatory network through high throughput techniques in order to find high-sensitive markers as diagnosis and treatment targets. The study approaches gain from bioinformatics databases and prediction tools.
HGDB (Heart Gene DataBase) is a cardiovascular-associated gene database designed primarily from OMICS, Gene Ontology (GO) and text-mining data and, enriched annotationally using BioAct , HPRD, Biomart , GO and Reactome databases. The search includes the following categories:
1)Gene Keywords containing Name, ID
2)Gene Contents compartmentally in cellular organelles and functionally in cell
3)Gene Contents in Somatic, Sexual and mitochondrial (MT) chromosomes
